CARP Field Day

The ARRL Field Day is scheduled for June 26 th and June 27 th . The contesting starts at 18:00 UTC which
should be 11 AM here in Clovis.

We have a reservation for Dry Creek Park. This is in Clovis, on Clovis Avenue just north of Herndon. We
will arrive early on June 26 th , probably by 7 AM at the latest, to stake out the desired area. This should
also give us ample time to set up equipment and antennas and get everything checked out. The park
reservation is for overnight and there are on-site restrooms that will be open and available.

I would like to invite club members to come out and participate. We will be using battery and generator
power and are not planning on using any city supplied power. If you have portable setups for both
radios and power, please consider coming out and participating with some of your equipment.

Lunch 12pm Saturday
We will be grilling up hamburgers for Field Day attendees. The cost for lunch is $5.00. There will be no charge for club members.
