					The Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers (CARP) are excited to announce our participation in the California QSO Party (CQP) this year, operating from the scenic Choke Cherry Campsite in Fresno County. Due to the Garnet Fire, we will be doing an Expedition to Madera County.
📅 Contest Dates & Times
- UTC hours: Starts at 1600 UTC on Saturday, October 4, 2025, and ends at 2200 UTC on Sunday, October 5, 2025 (cqp.org)
- Local Pacific Time (Fresno, CA):
- 9:00 a.m. PDT, Saturday, October 4 to 3:00 p.m. PDT, Sunday, October 5
Setup Plans
We’ll arrive at Choke Cherry Sivels Ranch campsite on Friday afternoon to set up antennas, radios, and camp so we’re fully ready to go when the contest starts Saturday morning.

- Club Callsign: K6ARP
- Logging Software: We’ll use N1MM Logger+ to record all QSOs. Learn more or download it at n1mm.plus.
🌐 Can't Join In-Person? Participate Remotely!
CARP is also competing in the CQP Club Competition, which means you can contribute to the club’s combined score from any location within Fresno County—even from home. Your QSOs will count toward both your personal log and CARP’s total club score.
