The Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers (K6ARP) are seeking licensed amateur radio operators to volunteer in support of the FCC Climb to Kaiser Ride, scheduled for June 20. This demanding cycling event traverses remote, mountainous terrain, making reliable communication essential for rider safety and effective event coordination.

Amateur radio volunteers will provide critical communications support throughout the ride, assisting with coordination between event officials, SAG vehicles, and safety teams. Operators will relay real-time information on rider status, route conditions, weather changes, and any incidents requiring attention.

Volunteering for the Climb to Kaiser Ride is an excellent opportunity to apply your amateur radio skills in a real-world public service environment while supporting a well-known regional cycling event. Both experienced event communicators and newer volunteers are welcome.

If you are a licensed amateur radio operator and would like to volunteer for the FCC Climb to Kaiser Ride on June 20, please sign up to help support a safe and successful event.
