EC Report for June 2012
I hope that you all had a great month and looking forward to another. This month we participated in what the Red Cross called Show and Tell. The support services to the Red Cross brought their toys and showed them off. The Cert and Red Cross support brought their vehicles and set them up so we all would know what their group was capable of and the equipment that was available. Joe Cabral KJ6TYS and myself, set up a station with hf mobile, uhf, vhf and digital communications to demonstrate our abilities to supply their Emcomm needs. We set up a popup, table & chairs, antennas and equipment for the RACES/ARES Group. Dan Pruitt AE6SX set up a SATERN demonstration next to us. We handed out flyers and answered questions as they arose. It was an informative gathering and we got free ice cream too!! Continue reading Fresno ARES/RACES EC Report – June 2012
