VE Session – Fresno – September 30, 2017

The Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers (FAME) is offering a free Amateur Radio Technician Class during the month of September.  A VE Session is offered the last day of the class.

Saturday, September 30, 2017 from  2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

What to Bring:

  1. A legal photo ID (driver’s license, passport)
  2. Students/minors may bring any of the above items and/or a school ID,  minor’s work permit, report card, or a legal guardian may present a photo ID.
  3. Social Security Number (SSN) or your FCC issued Federal Registration Number (FRN).
  4. If applicable, bring either a photocopy of your current Amateur Radio license or a reference copy printed out from the FCC website, the license information printed from ARRL website
  5. If applicable, the original(s) and photocopy(s) of any Certificates of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE) you may hold from previous exam sessions.
  6. Bring $15.00 cash to cover the exam session fee(s).

CARP Board of Directors Nominations 2017 Open

The Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers (CARP) is calling for nominations for open CARP Board of Directors positions. You may nominate yourself or someone else. Please be sure to fully read the qualifications in the CARP Bylaws. Nominations will only be accepted during the month of September.

Board members elected in this process will serve a two-year term beginning January 1, 2018 and culminating December 31, 2019.

This year there are three (3) Directors whose terms are up:

  1. Lou Dansby KD6WAW
  2. Mike Cederquist KD6LDA
  3. Laura Mavis KI6KRT
