CARP Bonehead/Overload Award Nominations Open

The Bonehead and Overload are some of the most prestigious awards that CARP can bestow upon an amateur radio operator. The person does not even need to be a member to be nominated for one of these awards.

The Bonehead award is given to the person who committed the most knuckle-headed, silliest, hair-brained action either on the air or off.

The Overload award is for the person who times out the repeater or even their radio…

The catch to these awards is that the person not only has to be caught doing the offense, but also needs to be nominated to be in the running to win the award.

February 13, 2010

CARP Repeater Link Back Online

The RF link between the CARP Mile-High and Clovis Repeater Sites is back online.  This enables the IRLP, Echolink and Phonepatch to be accessible from most all the repeaters in the K6ARP system.

There is an issue with the 220 repeater and had to be unlinked from the rest of the system. It is currently available and operating in stand alone mode.
