CARP Repeater Tower Maintenance Performed

On Sunday October 30, 2011 a crew went to the repeater site to perform some needed tower maintenance. Some loose feedline was secured for the winter and plans were made for moving the 220 antenna higher on the tower.

T32C DXpedition to Kiritimati is now QRT

The Five Star DXers Association (FSDXA) DXpedition to Kiritimati is now QRT. Kiritimati or Christmas Island is a Pacific Ocean atoll in the northern Line Islands and is part of the Republic of Kiribati.

The DXpedition operated with the callsign T32C for a month from September 28 to October 26. During that period utilizing 10 bands they made over 213,000 QSOs with nearly 49,000 unique callsigns, well exceeding their goals and possibly making several world records. Continue Reading »
