CARP Field Day Event

This year it happens that the ARRL Field Day falls on opening weekend of the CARP Fireworks stand. We will be setting up an HF Field Day station that will be run off of battery power. Everyone is welcome to come out and operate. The stand is located at the northwest corner of Clovis and Shaw avenues, in the Carl’s Jr. parking lot.

If you can not make it out to one of the other larger Field Day events around the area, Clovis isn’t that far to go.

CARP Fireworks Fundraiser

The Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers Fireworks stand begins Saturday June 28th. The club’s annual fundraising event will run through July 4th. The stand is located on the north/west corner of Clovis and Shaw Avenues, in the Carl’s Jr. Parking lot.

The event has been a success in the last two years bringing needed money to help support and expand the club’s repeater system and club activities. Members are encouraged to volunteer some time to help man the stand. Even if you can not support the club by working the stand, come out and purchase some fireworks to support your club.

Meeting: CARP

Summer BBQ and Get-together

Come out and join us for our summer BBQ meeting. The club will be grilling up hotdogs and providing chips and drinks. It will be a night of food and fun conversation.

Admission is free, but please bring a side-dish.
